Mission
After Darrington’s passing, his family felt a great determination to honor his legacy and to keep his memory alive. They established a 501c3 non-profit organization called Darrington’s Gift Inc. (DGI).
Purpose
The objective of the organization is to provide monetary support to individuals who have a confirmed cancer
diagnosis and to assist college students who are on a career path that will allow them to be of assistance to cancer patients. DGI is all about helping the cancer patient.
There were a few struggles on Darrington’s journey. If providing a little assistance to someone else can make even a small difference in their journey, then DGI would like to assist. Assistance through DGI can be obtained in the following ways: 1.) Darrington Lovelace Memorial Scholarship 2.) On the Move and 3.) It’s All About You.
